The story of fabulous pet: Notorious P.I.G.
I found Notorious P.I.G. online. My sister had shown me a website where a woman sold mini potbelly pigs, micro mini pigs, and teacup pigs. My favorite animal since childhood, I had always wanted one but, for many reasons, it wasn’t feasible.
Did that stop me?
Absolutely not.
A few ‘OKs’, a deposit and a couple emails later and Notorious was mine. We drove 3 hours to pick him up with an empty kennel and uncertain expectations. He was just as fantastic in person as he was in the picture I picked him out of.
He was potty trained, neutered, vaccinated, and full of energy… couldn’t have come out better if I birthed him myself.
His birthday is May 12th and believe me, we celebrate it. He is now a year and a half and the best pet I could possibly ask for.
Yes, he lives inside. He pretty much loves all food but he hates onions. He knows how to freeze for a treat and sit (still working on other tricks). He likes rap music and loves to be outside. He’s quite the couch potato, loves belly rubs, and is very affectionate.
Are mini potbelly pigs for everyone? Probably not. Do they stay teeny tiny forever? Nope. Notorious is about 45 lbs and about 2 feet long, but he’s pretty much full grown.
In my eyes, he’s fabulous.
And you really can’t understand me without knowing about him.
